Redownload purchased games

hi all, my old xbox one S died and i cant find my purchased games for the new one. Ive tried all the guides online but its no help, im sure this has bren covered before but i cant find any detail on it. Thanks in advance

Hi if you downloaded it on another xbox, did you transfer the license? If not are you trying to play it while conected to xbox live. As if the license is on another console you will need to be connected to be able to play.

Okay so first off let us go through some preliminary things do these things in the exact order.

1. Delete the game off your Hard Drive

2. Turn Off Your Xbox

3. Turn it back on and clear your Cache
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

4. Turn off your console again Then turn it back on

5. Reinstall the game.

6. Try playing the game again.

Make sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft Account email that you used to buy the games on your old console.

If in doubt, go to
https://commerce.microsoft.com and sign in with your account (if necessary with your multiple accounts).

Check which account has the purchased games, and then use that account on your new Xbox console.

Log in on the account that purchased them and then go to My Games and Apps > Ready to Install.

Your digital games are there to download at any time.

If they're not there you may have bought them on another account or were sharing someone else's My Home Xbox (potentiality against the terms of use.) If you were "game sharing" with someone, that's only allowed if they are family and are using your same
Xbox to sign in with, or have another console in your house.

Anything bought on your account will show in your purchase history or as owned in the store itself.
