redownload a game from Amazon onto my xbox one?

RDR2 is not a part of the game pass so you would not have gotten and been able to play it from there.

Do you remember entering in the 25 digit code into an account.

And once you enter in the 25 digit code and it is attached to an account amazon is correct you can remove and redownload the game as much as you want as long as you are either signed into the account that you put the code on or the console that you are trying
to download the game to is set as the consoles home console it would automatically show up in the ready to install.

So if you are signed into an account and go to the store on the console or online and it says that you have to purchase the game and does not give you an install option that means the account you are signed into at that time does not have the license for
the game (the code was not put onto that account).

If you bought the game from amazon it should have come with a 25 digit code that you would have put in on an account that the ownership of the game would be tied to you would need to sign into that account to download the game and set your console as that
accounts home console in order to play it on any other profile on that console.

If you are signed into the account that you entered the code into you would want to sign into your order history at account.microsoft.com and look at the status of the order in your order history.

Buuuutttt... I was able to go back and see the 25 digit code that amazon sent by looking at the list that Amazon kept of purchases, but there's no listing in the purchase history on Microsoft(?)...There's just month after month of Game pass charges...

I know, right?

I'm gonna go ahead and try to delete/reinstall since Amazon seems to swear you can redownload anything bought from them, so we'll see....

But thanks again... Was getting stressed because I've been playing RDR2 pretty much and nothing else this last coupla weeks and was really getting into catching every tiny thing... only to be told NOPE!
