REDLIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF XBOX SLIM(SOLVED)!!!!!

HELLO YOU GAMERS OUT THERE AND ONES WHO DONT BUT TODAY I SOLVED MY"REDLIGHT" OF DEATH PROBLEM

ON MY XBOX 360 SLIM.THE PROBLEM I INCURRED WAS THAT WHEN I TURN ON MY XBOX IT WOULD TURN GREEN THEN GIVE A SOLID REDLIGHT.

SO AFTER MANY ATTEMPTS TO TRY TO GET IT TO TURN GREEN I NOTICED I COUDLNT OPEN THE DISC TRAY AT ALL EITHER.

SO I OPENED MY XBOX VOIDING THE WARRANTY BULLCRAP AND UNPLUGGED THE DISC DRIVE.NOW WITH THAT SAID I PUT THE XBOX BACK TOGETHER AND TO MY SURPRISE IT FIRED RIGHT UP GREEN LIGHTS ARE GO AND WE ARE READY TO GO.SO FOR ALL YOU OUT THERE WHO ARE HAVING THE SAME
PROBLEM TRY THIS..IT WORKED FOR ME AND IM LOOKING TO HEAR ANY FEEDBACK FOR THE PROBLEM,GOODBYE.

The red light has nothing to do with your disc drive,so its coincidence that it is working again.

Opening your console doesn`t just void the warranty,it risks getting your account and console permanently banned.

As long as you don`t post on a microsoft site admitting to what you have done you should be ok...oh wait!

 

May I ask, How exactly does opening the case risk an account/console ban???

I do agree it's not a good idea to do self repairs but other than a voided waranty, what is the risk???? Electric Shock maybe an issue but, as for a ban threat I would like to see proof.

 

The drive was not changed, simply unplugged and reinserted. This is NOT grounds for a Ban of any type. It does void the warranty(if still active) towards any offical repairs though. Please provide Proof of statement.....

May I also Ask how you deduced the red light was not a Disk drive issue??? The error code was never mentioned.

Just curious as I maybe very wrong.
