Discus and support Redirected to us site when changing gamertag in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Hi all. I am trying to change my gamertag and I do log in on the uk xbox site yet it redirects me to the US one meaning I cant change my tag due to it...     Hi all. I am trying to change my gamertag and I do log in on the uk xbox site yet it redirects me to the US one meaning I cant change my tag due to it asking for a us address and not giving me the option to change
    region. Wondering if anyone could help me solve this as everything others have suggested doesnt seem to work. Even the globe (bottom left) only gives me US option. TIA

    Please check your account region here:
    https://live.xbox.com/Account/BillingAccountInformation

    If that shows US country, you need to migrate your account to your specific country via these instructions: Account Migration

    If your account is in the proper country, try to change the website's locale by manually replacing the "en-US" part in the web address with the proper locale of your country (e.g. de-DE for Germany, en-GB for Great Britan, etc.)

    The next time you log into xbox.com type xbox.com/en-gb . It takes you direct to the UK site.

    FYI, I tried switching to the AU xbox site, but when I click on an item to buy it, I get redirected to the US version of the site and can not purchase anything.
