Redeeming Xbox Live Gold Codes Issues

I'm trying to go to multiple multiplayer options in games and trying to go to the free with gold games on my Xbox one but every time I go to one of them it says go gold as in buy or redeem a code meaning my Xbox live ran out. Well I have several codes
and I've put them in but every time it says you already have gold give this code to a friend and it's been doing this and making me very very mad that I can't use my Xbox one for what I bought it for

You are showing as having a Gold membership. Please try deleting your profile from the console and then redownload it.

It doesn't help. I can't also redeem my Xbox Live Gold code from my computer.

I don't know if anyone else already posted the solution to this, but a friend had the same issue with the same error. The problem was, he was trying to redeem a code over a trial gold. Live Gold and Gold Trial, doesn't mix up, that's why the solution is
to let the gold subsciption end and then redeem the code. So if you have a Live Gold and try to redeem a Trial code (like the one included with the xbox) or the other way around, it won't work.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Have you used Xbox Live Gold on the account that the prepaid code is being redeemed on? The reason we ask is due to the fact that Xbox Live Gold trials cannot be redeemed on an account that has used Xbox
Live Gold before. Be sure to let us know the results!

If the issue continues, Can’t you buy xbox live gold from stores and then redeem the code?

its not ideal and is not a solution by at least you can get gold on your xbox
