Redeeming Xbox Live 12 months subscription

When trying to redeem code xbox one shows that it is a 12 month subscription then when redeem button pressed I get the following message:

Sorry, but an unexpected error has occurred, The error has been recorded etc. I have tried on xbox.com and get another error and a different error on xbox 360.

Hello. I recently bought an Xbox Live card, and when redeeming it, it recognizes it as a 12 month subscription, but says "Something Went Wrong" when redeeming. Error code: 0x801650C8

 

Ive been having the same issue since this past friday. My Live ran out and i cant do anything due to this issue.

Have either of you tried redeeming your Xbox Live code here on Xbox.com rather than through your Xbox One? If not, click your GT at the top right and select 'Redeem Code'. Let us know how it goes

 

I have tried just about everywhere i can think of and they all give me an error and tell me to try later.

 

what is the error code you get on the website? It will appear in the bottom right corner of the redeem box and look like lines of random letters and numbers.

The error code changes everytime i try and i cant find any of the codes on the error search

 

When you log into account.microsoft.com is all your billing info up to date? Do you see any outstanding balances on your subscriptions?

I have the same problem. I tried to redeem the code several times, most of the times giving an error instantly and sometimes recognizing the code as 12 month subscription but then I cant confirm without getting the error.
