Redeeming X-box One Digital Code

Trying to set up a new X Box one to DirecTV. I'm lost at the input "satellite box remote code". I spoke with Microsoft, and they told me to contact Directv for the code. I contacted Directv and they told me they have no idea what code I'm talking about and
that one doesnt exist - to contact Microsoft.

Any ideas? Also, my tv has a 5 digit remote code and x box only accepts 4 digits. Thanks!

My son got two gifts cards of $40 each, trying to redeem on his xbox one x, asking for 25 digits code, the card has only 16 digits code. What I should do?!

If I remember correctly, usually on initial setup there is a choice to purchase Live Gold / Ultimate.

Did your Xbox One X still have its security seal on the outer box when you took it home?

I agree with Xbox Ambassador Njal the Blue to check all the contents of the box and look for a 16 digit code to be redeemed in the Xbox digital store. If you are having no joy, you may want to consider going back to the store you purchased the Xbox from
and reporting it.

This is a 20 digit code that is on a sticker on the box. I can show you a picture if required. Are you familiar with the fallout 4 bundled Xbox One X? If not, who is?

Look for a 25 digit code (both numbers and letters) on the card that gave you the info. That is the number you put in the redeem box.
