redeeming X Box card

My daughter recently received an XBOX card for her birthday and when she went to redeem it, it gave her her money in her account, but when she went to spend it, it said that it needed to update the account address. Never my son or I have this issue and
both of my kids are on the family account and I can see all their purchases. What's the deal?

purchased an x-box live currency and want to buy a game from x-box live . I put in the redeeming code and have a credit . When i go to purchase a game it wants to charge my credit card on file. How can i use and redeem the credit i have ?

Hi, I redeemed a gift card through my microsoft account, and expected it to be available on the x-box (one of the devices attached to my account) but it's not available on the x-box. how can I make this available from the x-box?

If it includes games the will be on a redeemable code card in the box. You should be able to redeem the code and download any bundled games. My console came with Fifa, it was the 5 x 5 code on a card I entered manually because the kinect wouldn't read the
Tag.

There should be a card in the box with your Xbox that has a code you can redeem for the game. Instructions on how to redeem the code will be on the card.
