Redeeming vouchers / points

Hi. I have two gift cards. One is for iTunes (NZ$100) and the other is for XBOX Live (3000 Microsoft points) for an XBOX 360. The problems I have a two-fold - the first
is that because I have a UK account, even though I am in NZ now, the system won't let me redeem the NZ£100 gift card. When it was purchased, the purchaser was assured that it could be used on our system. How can I use this cash?

The second is that my sons Grandmother bought him a NZ£50 Microsoft Points card, but for an XBOX 360. My son has an XBOX 1S. How can I use these points?

Redeeming vouchers child account

Hello,

I have redeemed a voucher on my child's account who has created an Xbox account. However, when my child tries to make a purchase of a DVD, we get an error saying child/teens cannot make purchases.

How can I resolve this?

For help with the iTunes card, you would have to contact their customer support.

Xbox gift cards are tied to the account, not the console. So you would just redeem it to his account and it'll show up on a 360 or a One.

i didnt purchase a gift card voucher, i just redeemed my microsoft reward points as a $5 voucher.

Hi Jason,

There is no longer an option to transfer Microsoft Rewards points to Family members. If you're looking to use Microsoft Rewards to get some money into family members' accounts, the best you can do is redeem your points for a voucher and gift the voucher to your family member.
