    Redeeming Vbucks gift card


    Hi There,

    My son got a vbucks gift card for his birthday. We redeemed it under his account in epic games. It then gave us another code and told us to go to our microsoft account to redeem it. I did that under our family account as that is the only microsoft account
    we have. I can see it in our order history, but it is not showing up in his fortnite account balance. I think the vbucks are under my email address as the 'family organizer'. How can I give these to my son who is listed as one of my family members?

    We had a second card and realized that when you do the initial redeem in epic games, they send you an email and you can enter the secondary code right into his fortnite account on the xbox. I wish the instructions upon the initial redeem had said to see the
    email instead of sending me to microsoft.com/redeem. It would have been much easier.

    Did you buy a Microsoft gift card or actual Vbuck gift card?

    if you purchased a vbuck gift card you need to go to this link https://www.epicgames.com/fortnite/vbuckscard you need to login to HER account because it supplies
    a code for ONLY a specific account that here vbuck gift card was redeemed on. Please log in to HER account and redeem the code. then you have the option to select which platform. select Xbox and you will be given another code specifically for the Xbox to redeem
    on her account.

    How did you redeem the Vbucks? Did you buy them with a credit card or did you use a Vbucks card?

    I suggest you try redeeming the code again and check your order history again if the Vbucks aren't added, if the code you redeemed doesn't work anymore, contact Microsoft or Epic Games depending on how you paid. If you used an Xbox gift card or a credit
    card or Paypal, contact Microsoft support. If you used a Vbucks card, contact Epic.

    Money is in my sons account but he is not able to purchase VBucks, why?

    I'm having kind of the same problem as my son is trying to purchase vbucks but we are using a digital Microsoft Xbox gift card. Shows funds were added want gift card was entered but once he tried to purchase vbucks it states the gift card has already been redeemed! I'm going nuts over here and feel terrible at the same time and not sure what to do :/
