Redeeming problems

I am trying to redeem a prepaid 12 month xbox live code but i keep getting the same error message:

499cdf3f-d5ae-4c99-ac6e-e2887140380b

The system recognizes the code but tells me there is a problem on their end. This was after the xbox live service was supposedly back up. I have also tried redeeming the code on my xbox one but another error message.appears:

I can not use the download code HALO 5.

This problem is most likely caused because Halo 5 hasn't released yet.

I recommend waiting until release day, and if you still have trouble redeeming the code, this page should help you out:
