    Bizarre Xbox live / game receipt problem

    Bought an Xbox live code for my sons for Christmas from Game via my debit card and it came as a text code on a basic receipt. Dopy dick here then lost the receipt before redeeming the code. Will Game be able to trace/link the purchase to the code via my debit card? Obviously the coffee isn't redeemed so not like I'm blagging anything? Lol

    I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

    Xbos-0x80169CF9

    Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

    You could try contacting the place you purchased it from to see if they have record of the code (not always the case). But otherwise, no.

    I was sent a Just cause 2 code to redeem because i bought Just Cause 3, now the code for Just cause 2 is not in my messages, i need it to be sent to me again...

    New Xbox One console came with 3 downloadable games. Kids opened box, lost paperwork.

    Hi there,

    the games most likely came with the console as redeemable codes on leaflets inside the package. These codes would have to be redeemed.

    If the leaflets are lost then I'm afraid not much can be done.

    If you've already redeemed the code, then the game is tied to your account and there's no need for the code.

    Otherwise, the only way to get a new code is to buy one. Microsoft is not responsible for lost or stolen codes.
