    Hi guys, I am trying to redeem a gift on my account. The gift card was purchased from Amazon UK. I used to live in the Netherlands but 3 year ago i have moved to the UK. I have changed the region on my account to
    UK as well. For some reason the currency on my account is still showing Euro's. When i try to redeem the code its giving me the following message:

    Redeem your code or gift card

    Take it back to where you got it from and see if you can get one for your region.

    But the code isnt for another region as I am in the UK and the code is bough for the UK. The region on my account is set to the UK. As you can see the error message says something about a currency mismatch. Like i said before my account is still showing
    euro's in the billing section. Even though there is no money on my account at the moment it should at least say it has £0 and not 0 euro's.

    Does anyone have any idea what the issue could be? I have spoken to 4 different people on the live chat now and they all tel me to clear my cache and reset my xbox and all that. That wont change anything about my account though. Please if someone can help
    me further with this that would be much appreciated

    Wait cant i do it like this

    Redeem 2 $25 xbox giftcards first. Then go to minecraft and click buy. Then select the microsoft balance option ( money from redeeming giftcards). Then wait for it to purchase. Then go into the xbox app and go to minecraft and enter the game. Then login into the acc that has it. Then i can play minecraft java and bedrock edition. This is another way right? Like i can redeem multiple giftcards until it reaches $40 and then i buy minecraft and play it. Does this work aswell?
