Redeeming Games With Gold online telling me to join gold....

My subscription ends in April, but when I log in and try to redeem a game with gold online it tells me to buy a subscription. What do I do? Is there a way to redeem 360 games on xbone without logging in online>?

I have a gold code which needs redeeming however when i go to do so it says i have already got gold but i cant join parties and online games

But seriously, can't agree with you. And I did read it. Perhaps you missed the text. It clearly says "Includes a 14-day LIVE Gold Trial to experience Spartan Ops and War Games Online". I was not able to experience Spartan Ops after redeeming that Gold Trail.
It's that simple.

Nope you must use the xbox 360 web marketplace if you don't have have an 360

You are gold here but any account that is on home gold but not the master account cannot use the webmarketplace as home gold doesn't go beyond the one

You would have to use the master account

When I try to redeem games with gold or deals with gold it prompts me to join gold. If I proceed it says gold included with ultimate subscription.

It's ridiculous this just happened to me today but in my system settings it say in subscriptions I have xbox live gold and when it expires but tells me I can't join a party or play online when I attempt to play a game because I don't have GOLD. They ripped
us off it's a pain getting any kind of support that can fix this. It's not us it's them this isn't my first rodeo redeeming a card smh

im having similar issue, used the website to redeem a code for a 12 mo sub, and it shows in my acct that it is active, but when I try and redeem a free with gold game it asks me to join gold. I even had a chat session with a support person who sent me a
link, which let me redeem the game, but now its back to asking me to join again
