    Hello,

    The optical drive on my xbox has recently stopped working so i was wondering if there is a way to redeem the disk purchases i have on the store so i can still play the games I've brought and installed on my console.

    XBOX will NOT read anything

    Your console's disk dirve may be wearing out. You can either send it in for repairs or purcahse a new console. Your disk Drive will give out completely eventually and no longer even spin the disc you inserted. If you are on the Old Xbox 360s (the white ones
    before 2010 model) this is a typical problem, I recommend you switch to a Slim model.

    With ms store and amazon or cdkeys you either get a prepaid code or a disk

    A prepaid code you would still have to redeem it on an xbox store
