Redeeming code onto wrong account

My son has bought and xbox live gold digital code on Amazon. He redeemed the code onto the wrong account by accident. I was wondering if theres any way you can move the voucher from one account onto another without paying for another one? Thanks.

Youd have to check with customer service to see if there is anything they can do but generally speaking nothing is transferable between accounts.

Make sure you are signed onto the account that redeemed the code.

Go to Accounts and check your purchase history to confirm you redeemed it on the correct account.

To redeem your code for Xbox, please can you sign into your account in the following link and redeem the 5 by 5 code: Redeem code

Once you have entered the code, please click onto confirm and follow the instructions. This will redeem the code onto your Microsoft account. Please make sure you are redeeming the code on the correct account as items can't be transferred to a new account.
