Redeeming code for free game

Bought a Xbox 1 with the chose one game . Set up an email used my code and sppose to waita couple of days to get an emailfor a conformation code I didn't recieve anything its a couple of weeks and its the code been used andI don't have that code

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.
