Redeeming COD points bought on phone for XBOX

Oh ok thanks so much. Thought i could just buy them like a gift card in a store and redeem on any account. Reason i did it this way was when i did it on his account it just kept saying i would get an email (because hes under 18) and i didnt get anything
through. Thanks for your help.

you have to purchase points on the account that will use them, you dont get a redeem code.

I would request a refund and then add money to his account to purchase them.

80 percent of the time the game kicks me or restarts. The other 20 percent freeze's mid game and restarts. The game on Xbox will not play so the content is unavailable to me. The dlc I bought with cod points which I bought from Microsoft store. I understand Xbox sold the cod points only but if the game won't play for me refund what I spent on cod points. I don't use warzone on any other console. They can even hit up Activision and ban the account if they think that or why not Xbox three-way with Activision and myself and fix the problem with me on the phone. That was not offered because they don't care.

No worries because you should still be able to access your COD Points even if you redeemed the gift card before downloading the game.

Please download Call of Duty: Warzone and ensure that the game is installed on your Xbox. You can find it in the Microsoft Store and download it.

And make sure that you are logged into the Xbox account where you redeemed the gift card because COD points are tied to the account that redeemed them.

Before checking the balance, verify the redemption in Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com>; Order history. From there check if the COD points were successfully redeemed.

Next is to check your in-game balance by launching the game and go to the Store or COD Points section. Your redeemed points should appear in your balance.

If the points don’t show up immediately, kindly restart your Xbox. Please give it 24 hours as well in order for the COD points redemption to sync up to your game smoothly.
