Redeeming an Xbox live complimentary credit

I use an Xbox 360 for my live account. Usually stream movies through Xbox video. Recently had problems with this, but sorted now. Microsoft sent email apologising for the inconvenience and said they'd credit £5 to my account to use against movies Etc. the
problem is I can't find it on my account and it expires in less than 10 weeks. Also the email they sent me has no code to redeem it. When I click the link it just sends me to my account with no mention of how to get the credit? Someone please help? Has this
happened to anyone else?

I haven't received my 3,000 credits after redeeming my 12 months of xbox live.My previous xbox live ran out in october. Help?

Do I have enough for this game?

Wait, I just checked my Xbox Rewards thing and it says I have 2900 credits. I'm redeeming them early, on 29/10/2015, should that be enough? I live in Alberta also.

Have you checked billing.microsoft.com to see if you have any credit in your account? That's the only thing I can think of. It won't necessarily tell you that it's there.

Typically a complimentary Xbox GamePass from a branded computer manufacturer is provided in the form of a redemption code.

You can confirm how to get the complimentary Xbox GamePass code by contacting your PC manufacturer's support staff.

Then open your browser on your PC and visit this page:.

Microsoft account | Redeem your code or gift card

Sign in with your Microsoft account (the Xbox GamePass you redeem will be tied to the Microsoft account you sign in with, so be sure to make sure it's the right one).

Enter the 25-digit code on the next page to complete your redemption.

Just to confirm the steps you followed:

1. You redeemed your rewards points from MS Rewards for $20 Xbox Live credit

2. And then you got an email with the code for the Xbox live credit.

3. Then you redeem that code on your Xbox

Above steps would have added the credit to your account.

Check your order history by logging in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders with the same account you used to redeem.

I too have received the same thing but instead of a 12 month Live Gold which it states. The code says its for a 1 month Live Gold.
