Crap, I hate Microsoft!

What the hell? I got my son and his friend over here at the house and they have waited 2 hours while I fuss with this damn xbox gift card purchase of a game.

I entered the 25 digit gift card number, see a $25 credit, then go to pay for a game marketed at $29.99, but there is no option to apply my credit. I assumed the credit balance in my account would automatically apply and the difference of $4.99 would be
charged to my credit card if I proceed to purchase and now it shows in my credit card account the full amount of $29.99 was charged!!!!!!!

Mini-Survey: How do you purchase your digital content on Xbox Live?

A mix of Credit Card and online gift cards. The Xbox Live marketplace is weird for me, it charges me tax when using a credit card directly, but doesn't charge me any tax when using my Microsoft account balance. So usually what I tend to do is always makes sure I have something in my account balance so when I use my credit card, it only subtracts what was left over after taking from the account, and this never includes tax.

 

XBOX gift card can't use!!!

I entered a Xbox gift card of 50$ as explained on the microsoft website but when my son buy stuff, Microsoft is still taking money from my credit card. It doesn't recongize the 50$ amount in the microsoft account (account.microsoft).

What is wrong?

 

I am told I will have my $29.99 put back on my credit card and that I gee, in those two hours trying to buy a game with my $25 credit I must have missed the option to apply that credit...... CRAP, I get insulted by reps in the process. I was never given
that option. PEOPLE DON"T BUY THEIR GIFT CARDS, THEY ARE WORTHLESS PIECES OF CRAP!!!!!!!!

 

Well, raging won't get you anywhere, actually. I faced even more worse problems, and I eventually got over them by contacting the Support if I lose hope in any other solutions.
