Were you using a different account when you originally entered the product key? If you were then it may unfortunately be the case that you cannot use the product key again on a different account.

The Spotify offer is not over until 4/1/2020. Unless you get the message with the key, the problem is that it seems to be innacessesable without contacting Microsoft support. I saw in another thread to choose the options 'subscriptions' and 'cannot redeem
key' in the help menu system. I'll give it a try later today and report back.
