Redeeming a gift code

Hi,I got a dlc gifted yesterday and I can't redeem it on any platform.Tried xbox store,windows store,directly from email,xbox app and nothing works.The page just closes without an error code.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks

How can I purchase a Xbox design lab code. *gift idea*

Was thinking that it would be a good gift idea for my little brother. So he can design himself a cool xbox controller.

So I can give him a digital code to redeem to use at the design lab.

 

There are still several ongoing issues open at the moment, some of these are to do with game profiles, online purchases and accounts.

This is also affecting the redemption of codes.

Is the person who gifted you the DLC from the same country as you? This has to be the case, otherwise you won't be able to redeem the gift code.

Currently I think there are some issues going on with the Xbox servers, so that may be why you are encountering some difficulty in redeeming your DLC code. While that doesn't help much in getting the code redeemed, I would suggest reaching out to MS customer
support as they may be able to redeem the code for your account manually while the other issues are being sorted
