    Redeeming a code and saying already redeemed? How to fix??


    I need help for my son trying to redeem a code for fortnite that i just purchased at target. How do we get the code to work? He is brokenhearted!! I’m not happy about spending 30.00 for a code that won’t work!! How do i fix this

    We also had the same thing happen with a card purchased at Target. Purchased in April, tried to use in June and it was "redeemed". Microsoft verified it was redeemed by someone else but wouldn't compensate me. I went back to target as instructed, and they
    said once it's purchased and leaves the stores, it's not their responsibility. $50 and I can't get Target or Microsoft to remedy the loss. Hope you had a better outcome.

    Hey there. There is actually a code and pre-paid gift card troubleshooting page located here: https://beta.support.xbox.com/help/...es-gifting/troubleshoot-gift-card-code-issues

    When you run through that and still have the issue persist, you should hit the button on the page that says "request a new code" or something along those lines and follow the information on the next page.     Redeem a code--says it is already redeemed.

    If the code shows as redeemed, then it be an issue with the retailer (in this case Amazon).

    When you redeemed it on xbox 1 what happened?

    If the code was accepted on xbox 1 it has already been redeemed and cannot be used again. To find that game on your xbox 360 you will need to visit the purchase history and you should be able to download it again on xbox 360
