Redeeming 14 day Gold Trial

I accidentally typed in my redeem code into the games section because i didn't know where else to find it(am new to Xbox one) and then i fired up Forza and the Xbox gold thing popped up, so i retyped in my code in the use a code section, and it said it had
already been used, but now when i'm in game in Forza and i try to join and online session, it takes me back to the Xbox live subscription thing, and i cant retype the code in as it says its already been used...please help..

Xbox Live Code - Trial

I have a 14 Day Trial up for grabs if anyone wants it, same rules as DR K as above.
1 Thing I should mention though is I tried to redeem it when my Live had ran out and would not redeem due to me already having a Gold previously so I believe the 14 day trials that come with the x1 are for Gamertags that have never had Gold.

One-month and 14-day Xbox Live Gold subscriptions!

Can I use the one-month Xbox Live Gold trial subscription after using or redeeming the 14-day one??

Trials don't change your account status to gold and only give you access to some benefits of online multiplayer. They generally will not work with ranked matches so it may depend on what mode you're trying to play. Some codes will also only work with the
games they came with.

Please bear in mind Xbox Gold trials does not stack to each other. If you redeemed a 14 day trial code then redeem a 2 day code it will remove the 14 day trial code. Have you redeemed other codes besides the 14 day trial?

Best to wait for your trial to be over and then redeem your 12 months gold. Usually gold subscriptions stack up, but not the 14 days trial.

Hi,

You don't have any sort of a free trial attached to your account. If you were offered a 30 day trial on the console dashboard you'll need to add a payment method in order to take advantage of it.

If you redeemed a trial code like a 2 day or 14 day trial, or even a 30 day trial code from a redemption card then you wouldn't need any sort of payment details. The 2 day/14 day card doesn't give you gold status but lets you play online for the stated days
(2 or 14 days, depending on what you redeemed), or 30 days (which will give you gold status) if you redeemed it from a gold subscription card.

14 day trials redeemed from a code do not auto-renew. They won't show on your account since they are a trial and not a full gold subscription.

I understand that a xbox game pass 14 days trial code or a xbox live gold 14 days trial code can't be used/sold as xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial code for sure.

Because a 'xbox games pass ultimate 14 days trial code' equals a 'xbox game pass 14 days trial code + xbox live gold 14 days trial code', so for new Microsoft/Xbox accounts, a 'xbox game pass ultimate 14 days trial codes' could be used/sold as 'xbox game
pass 14 days trial code' or 'xbox gold live 14 days trial code' , right?

Please help to clarify.
