Redeeming 1 week XBL code

I ordered CoD:Ghosts, and it gave me a week code. So, I went to put it in on the xbox, and kept getting 'invalid code.'

So, that was a head scratcher, and went to live.xbox.com to enter it, and it goes through; Up until confirming the code. I tried copying what I thought was an error code, but nothing came up for me.

Is there something going on with code redemption right now from these, or is this something I have to take up with the person I ordered the game from?

in my country they don't sell xbl redeem codes and i don't have a credit card so i need one

You're already showing as a Gold subscriber. Trial codes cannot be added to an active subscription. They also cannot be stacked on top of one another.

 

That's a little lame. I've had codes I've used before and they go through. Well alright. Thanks.

 

My gold subscription has already expired. But it still tells me I'm a Gold subscriber despite being unable to play Destiny & Titanfall.

Any ideas?

 

This is a really old thread. For future reference please try not to bump older thread.

The system can take a while to catch up to you. Your gamertag is showing as Silver so the fact it is telling you it is Gold is just a bit of a slow glitch.
