Redeemed Xbox live and it deleted my remaining money in my account. Help!

Can you check https://commerce.microsoft.com and see what the current balance is (and whether that matches the console); that page will also have historical activity on the account so you could see
why the money is no longer there, if indeed it is not.

no, it is change of email but I want to know if the change will affect my xbox live account and I want to know if the account data will be deleted or only the change will be made and my account will
remain intact

Hey ..... i have these problems too... anyone knows how to help? my friend requests remain pending yet they see me as online and see my games i play.... also too i've bought xbox live gold cards to redeem and they dont seem to redeem, please help :/

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble accessing the funds on your gift card. It's not common for this to happen, but I'll do my best to help you out.



Firstly, please make sure that the gift card has been successfully redeemed to your account. You can check this by going to the Microsoft Store on your console and selecting "View Account" from the drop-down menu. From there, select "Payment & billing" and then "Payment options". You should see the gift card balance listed there.



If the gift card balance is showing up, but you're still unable to use it, please try signing out of your account and then signing back in. This can sometimes help refresh your account and allow you to access the funds.



If you're still having trouble after trying these steps, please contact Xbox Support for further assistance. They will be able to look into your account and help you resolve the issue. They have a better view than us here on community since they can manually pull up your account.

You can only delete an account from your storage device, but it will remain on the Live servers. To delete from your storage device, go to My Xbox, System Settings, Memory, select the device the profile is stored on, go to Profiles, and delete the profile
you want to delete.
