Redeemed on wrong account

I recently got an Xbox Live Gold membership prepaid card, and I was going to redeem it today on my Xbox live account, but the system would not let me until I logged into my account, which is what I did online. Although for some reason it logged me
into a different Microsoft account that I did not even realize was created for me and that is where I redeemed my code. After I figured out this problem, I was unable to use my code on the actual Xbox live account that I bought this for in the first place.
I am not sure where I'm supposed to contact for this problem, but I am still confused why 2 accounts were created when the only reason I have an outlook account is for Xbox.

Redeemed on wrong account

I accidentally redeemed a game code on my work account. After contacting support they told me there is now way to transfer the game. Even using the set one account as home on the xbox route won't solve this in the long term. I won't always have access to
the other account.

MS should not allow a live account to redeem a game when it doesn't even have a xbox account assigned to it!

This is so frustrating...

I redeemed a game code that I received when I purchased Assassins Creed: Origins Deluxe edition on my wrong account and I'm wondering if there's a way I can redeem it again (with proof of purchase of game and code of course).

I can definitely see how this can be frustrating! If you also wanted to contact them by phone, you can sign in and find the number based on your region here: Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened.
