redeemed live code on PC but not showing on xbox one

HI, I REDEEMED A PREPAID CODE FOR XBOX LIVE GOLD MEMBERSHIP. I DID THIS ON MY ACCOUNT VIA PC, IT ACCEPTED THE CODE AND SHOWS THE EXPIRY DATE NEXT YEAR .THE PROBLEM COMES WHEN I LOG ONTO MY XBOX ONE - IT STILL SAYS MY LIVE GOLD IS RUNNING OUT 'LESS THAN 2
DAYS LEFT'. I HAVE TRIED TO RE ENTER THE CODE ON THE XBOX ONE CONSOLE BUT IT SAYS CODE IS ALREADY USED - SO WHY HAS MY ACCOUNT UPDATED ON THE PC BUT NOT THE CONSOLE?

New Xbox one s. Have redeemed the code of XBOX live - but not showing up for multiplayer gaming.

 

It can take a little time for things to update. I am certain that it will show correctly before long. However, if it does not update, please post here again.

 

A lot of people have been having this issue on the Xbox One. The only thing we can suggest is to wait until the current membership runs out. If you revert to Silver then you'll need to contact phone support for more assistance. If you live in North America

The current membership runs out tomorrow so I guess it's a case of wait and see! I will check again tomorrow. I am based in the UK.
