Redeemed gold won't work

Discus and support Redeemed gold won't work in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I bought a 12 month Xbox gold membership card and redeemed like I've done before.     Redeemed gold won't work


    I bought a 12 month Xbox gold membership card and redeemed like I've done before. Now it says that I am a member until late 2018 but I still cant play any multiplayer games. Tried to restart Xbox many times and it has now been five hours, still won't work.

    Anyone knows what I could to to fix it?

    I have just redeemed Xbox live gold, it have redeemed successfully but it won't let me join or send path invitations !! Can anyone help please ????

    GOLD WON'T WORK

    My Xbox One S says my Gold account expires in 2019 but whenever I try to access the features of Gold, eg joining a party, a pop-up comes on the screen and asks me to join Xbox Gold!

    How can I get this working again? Thanks

    I'm having the same problem. The season pass card keeps giving me the 'something went wrong' error and it won't work. I've tried to redeem it on xbox.com and on my system with the QR and typing in the code. Nothing works. It won't let me redeem my season
    pass that came with the gold edition, yet.

    i think you can't redeem the code when there is still an active Gold subscription in your account.

    just wait until the Gold was expired and you can redeem it right away.

    I don't know if anyone else already posted the solution to this, but a friend had the same issue with the same error. The problem was, he was trying to redeem a code over a trial gold. Live Gold and Gold Trial, doesn't mix up, that's why the solution is
    to let the gold subsciption end and then redeem the code. So if you have a Live Gold and try to redeem a Trial code (like the one included with the xbox) or the other way around, it won't work.

    This issue happens when the Gold you redeemed was from a different region that the Ultimate you're trying to get. Your store region needs to match the region of the Gold you redeemed for this to work. You need to take a look at the Gold code to see the region it was for as any little change in regions won't work unfortunately.
