Redeemed Gold free 14 day trial code (via PC), said successful (on PC) but not on Xbox One?

Please help am new to this

Set up an outlook account for me and my 3 sons. In my account I redeemed the free 14 day trial for the Gold Live Membership and it said success

But when I put the xbox one on, there is no sign that I have the gold membership, it is asking me to pay for it or redeem a code?

Had two 14 day trial codes for Xbox Live Gold, but neither of them activated Gold on my account. Need help.

I have same issue. I redeemed my code for a free 14 day trial but I redeemed it on the PC. A screen came up saying successful but now neither my account on the PC or on the Xbox shows me as having Gold Live at all. I have restarted the console and have signed
in and out of my account on the PC but it is as though it never registered the code although when I try again it now says code already used. Who on earth can I contact? thanks

 

Xbox Live Gold Redeem Code Problem

I have an Xbox Live Gold 14 day trial card and I redeemed code yesterday in my Xbox One after
redeeming it stopped in loading page and it did not work, so I left the loading page. After I powered off the Xbox One and redeemed code with PC on https://account.xbox.com/en-US/PaymentAndBilling/RedeemCode I
confirmed the code and it said the code activated for you.

But when I turned on my Xbox One it said you are not in Gold membership. Then I redeemed code in Xbox One and it said "The Code Has Already Been Used" .

* I've gotten "Xbox Live Gold 14 day trial Card" from Xbox One Package.

So what can I do now?

 

14day trial's don't give you actual gold or games with gold

It only gives temporary multiplayer access to the games they came with and only social non ranked matches

It has different effects on different games

Games like destiny requires axtual gold

 

Thanks for the response- It was a green card I got with the new console and FIFA bundle. The card says "activate your 14 day xbox live gold trial" those are the actual words from the card, written above the code

I found the same green card in my new Xbox One in the Forza 6 bundle, which is indeed titled "Activate your 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial" and I redeemed the code from the Xbox One directly: after that I confirmed the 25-digit code, I got the confirmation
that some weird-coded promotion was activated, but not the Xbox Live Gold, I was expecting.

What is that code for then? The weird-coded promotion was called something like "promo live Sweden for Xbox 360" plus some other acronyms, which I don't remember.

That's it... nevertheless I find the "Activate your 14 day Xbox Live Gold trial" title for the green card very misleading.... just to use an euphemism
