Redeemed Gold codes aren't working?

Basically, my gold ran out so I figured I'd just use the codes I got with my xbox. I used 2 codes, one for a week on the 360 and one for 14 days on the One. I redeemed the 360 one through the internet because it wasn't a QR and I redeemed the other on my
one. Now when I go on either of the consoles, it's still telling me I need a Gold account to be able to download the free games, but if I try to use the code again it tells me it's already been used? Help please!!!

The codes you used are free trial codes only and do not stack. When you used both codes one will have cancelled the other out.

A trial code only allows some features of the Live service and are usually limited to the game they came with. They cannot be used to download free games that are available to full Gold membership holders.

Certain games are region locked by IP and you aren't going to be able to play any disc based games that aren't the same region as your console, such as NTSC (North America) vs PAL (Europe).

You will also need to have a GOLD Subscription, fortunately, GOLD Subscription cards/codes are NOT region locked so you can buy one anywhere and redeem it on your current profile.

Also noteworthy, Microsoft Points codes/cards are region locked so you cannot redeem/use them in a different region.

This includes gift xards and no they aren't transferable

The played rule only applies to games you bought and played

But since its a gift the redeemed rule applies

I don't know if anyone else already posted the solution to this, but a friend had the same issue with the same error. The problem was, he was trying to redeem a code over a trial gold. Live Gold and Gold Trial, doesn't mix up, that's why the solution is
to let the gold subsciption end and then redeem the code. So if you have a Live Gold and try to redeem a Trial code (like the one included with the xbox) or the other way around, it won't work.

No you have to live in a xbox live region to redeem the code

Codes only work in supported regions and if they aren't one of the banned region atm which us turkey and russia
