Redeemed Fortnite code won't appear.

I redeemed the Dark Vertex code when I purchased my Xbox Wireless controller and it won't appear on Fortnite.

I can see the code was successfully redeemed on Microsoft side. I can see the accounts connected on Epic Games.

But nothing appears in game.

I'd get in contact with epic games if the code was successfully redeemed on the Microsoft side, or try restarting the game and the console to see if it just needed to have your account reconnect

I've been trying Microsoft and Epic support for almost a week now, so I wasn't clear here when I posted this.

I don't have an Xbox One to "install" the content like I've seen people do online.

I bought the wireless controller to play other games, I just happen to play Fortnite on PC and I decided to have that small bonus (the Fortnite edition).

I didn't just pay more for a color scheme. Microsoft should make it easier to get what I bought on their part.

when you redeemed the code it would tell you what you are redeeming and then ask you to confirm that you want to redeem it if that happened then you wouldn't have been scammed as it would tell you the code was already redeemed or doesn't exist if
you were scammed it could take a while for your items to appear though

The problem is that microsoft actually tells me taht my code was valid, but the in-game cosmetics don't appear in my fortnite account.

Just to make sure I got this right, all I need to do is fire up fortnite on the console on the account I redeemed the code and the pack should appear?
