    Redeemed code today but my xbox360 hasn't been updated in 2 years so it isnt communicating


    I just bought a redeem code from Walmart and I reedeemed it on my phone. My xbox360 has not been updated for a couple years so in order to connect to Xbox live it has to update via the message that keeps popping up. Well the problem with that is that it
    wont update if its not connected to Xbox live lol. My Ethernet cable is plugged into the Xbox. So I guess I am just wondering what I can do to fix this besides buying the Xbox One lol. Thanks you Ladies and Gentlemen.

    DNS problems on one xbox the other one works. :S

    I've updated my dashboard to the latest version via usb (hasn't been updated since 1-2 years)

    still can't connect to internetRedeemed code today but my xbox360 hasn't been updated in 2 years so it isnt communicating :(
