    Alright so I was at a friends house and we were both signed into his Xbox One console with our gamertags. He had redeemable codes for Assassin's Creed which he hadn't used yet and we wanted to play. We redeemed the codes on his xbox but apparently they got
    linked to my gamertag instead of his as i guess my profile was the active one when we used the code. Now he can not play the games on his xbox with his gamertag and when he tries to play it tells him to buy them in the store. Is there any way to fix this so
    the games are linked to his account and not mine?

    Need help redeeming my xbox live code

    I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

    so what the... what do I do now?

    We redeemed a prepaid XBOX Live redemption code to one of the wrong profiles on our 360.

    Is there a way to delete it or transfer it to another profile or is it redeemed and gone with now and we have to purchase another one??

    They couldn't help since the codes came in a bundle and were not purchased through the Xbox Live Marektplace. They said had it been purchased in the Marketplace they would have revoked the license and refunded the game, then we would have had to repurchase
    it. Thanks for your response.

    Hey KMVY,

    Thank you for posting here on the xbox forums. Once the code has been redeemed, you cannot redeem it again. Which is why you would be getting that message the second time around. Did you redeem the code online or on your xbox? If it was online, you would
    have had to be logged into your gamertag before redeeming the code. Otherwise, you might redeem it on the wrong account.

    I could not redeem prepaid code, it says something went wrong!

    I'm having the similar error message when redeeming my code. My gamertag and billing option is set to Philippines, and the xbox live gold card or rather code is bought online from the UK. But when I try to redeem the code, it will show the similar message
    saying Something Is Wrong and all that.. What may be the problem?! D:
