Redeemed code, didn't download and can't re-enter code

I bought the expansion pass for Destiny a couple of days ago on Gamestop's website, and it gave me the code to redeem. When I redeemed the download code it said it was accepted but it did not do anything after that. It didn't download the files or anything
and when I go to re-enter the code it says it has already been redeemed and can't use it. I've reset cache, everything. Somebody have any ideas (I'm on 360 in case that info is needed)?

How to Redeem a Code on Xbox One - QR Code or 25 Character Code

Hey guys! Okay, so you need to figure out how to redeem codes on the Xbox One? Well, there are a few ways of doing this.

1.

• Login to Xbox.com (top right hand side)
• In the top bar, mouse over Xbox Live Gold
• You'll see 'Redeem Code' in the drop down list
• Click 'Redeem' and enter your 25 digit code!

If your code is a game or DLC, it will automatically start downloading once you login to your Xbox, unless you have your Xbox in standby, which will allow it to download right away!


2.

• From the main page of the Xbox One dashboard, scroll to the right to the 'Games' section and select that section -or- If your Kinect is connected, say "Xbox, Use a Code"
• If you have a QR code (that square looking code thing), you can hold it up to your Kinect to redeem it.
• If you have a 25 digit code, in the lower left of the screen, you have the option to "enter the 25-character code." Click that and enter your code. Confirm your code and you're all set!

Your item will automatically download. Enjoy!

Stoopid question, but with everyone now having NXE, the instructions on the back of the manual are out of date, so where on earth do i go to redeem the code as i can no longer find an option called 'redeem code' will it work if i just select any song to download and then enter the code there? or is there an option within RB2 to redeem the code(not seen on if there is)

 

My brother said that when he got the Destiny Expansion Pass from GameStop, the code they gave him and that he entered on his 360 simply put 34.99 plus tax into his Microsoft account. Then he went into the marketplace on his 360 and just bought the Expansion
Pass there, using the balance on his Microsoft account. Maybe your code did the same thing? Did it just put money in your Microsoft account?

 

Actually ya it did so I just have to buy it there or something? It says on my billing page at microsoft.com that its status is settled.

No problem! I'm not sure why GameStop is doing it that way, seems very silly to me.
