    I recently have bought a 12 month Xbox live gold, code from a store. I have redeemed it onto my account and it says that I have that subscription, yet i am unable to use any Xbox live features and it is requesting I buy Xbox live, thinking I don’t have it!
    I have checked my Microsoft account on the Microsoft’s website and it says I haven’t purchased it. I have tried restarting and logging in and out of my account.

    I'm XL Gold, but it says Silver.

    I redeemed an Xbox LIVE Gold code, and it worked. Now i can play online but it still says that I'm silver, and I can't use XL Gold servicies...

    What should I do?

    (I'm from Italy, if this could help.)

    Sorry to hear about the Xbox Live Gold issues.

    The prepaid card you mentioned. Is this a card to redeem Xbox Live Gold? If yes, did it say it was successfully redeemed?

    I'm asking you this because your gamercard shows that you're still a Xbox Live Silver member.

    It appears that you still have a silver account, not gold which is what is needed to access X Box LIVE. What codes did you redeem?

    Hi CasualKitten207,

    Trial codes does not make you a gold member so your options are limited. Only the 1 month trial makes the account a gold member so if you redeem 2 days, 7 or 14 days trial, your account will still remain silver.
