Redeemed a code. won't download.

Hi I'm hoping someone might be able to help.

My friend in the USA sent me (in the uk) a code for a game as a gift. I redeemed it but it's not showing up in my 'ready to install' tab on the xbox one. any help? i can't use the code again obviously.

When you say it won't download, can you be more specific.

Does the code not say its valid when you redeem it? You are able to redeem the code but the game it self won't install? Is the install staring but not finishing?

just go into your download history and re download it it won't cost you anything and you won't have to redeem the code again, good luck!

Judge

The code won't work again because you have the download in progress. If the code won't work then that means (you) redeemed the content already. I would cancel the download and then go to your Purchase History and re-download it. Goodluck!

Hi there,

A few options to firstly try.

Go ahead and do a reset of your console, by holding your finger on the power button until the console completely shuts down. Give it a few moments and start the console back up.

If it is still not appearing

On your console head over to the store and use the search bar to search for the game. Once the game is located, see if it says install or purchase.

Alternatively if you have no luck

Head over to Xbox customer support and make sure you're logged into your account. They will be able to have a look and see what might be the issue.
