Redeemed a code not live

I redeemed a code from a gift card today and went to my Xbox and I try to login and see my friends it just says I need to login. My friends do not show up. But on my PC I login to my account and it shows I'm active!

HELP!!!!!!

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

You need to log back in to your account on the console, if you see that message. Try testing your xbox connection as well.

I've checked the connections, logged out, click on profile that automatically logs in but still see none of my friends. even tried to re register the system

 

I've had success with the following steps:

1. Remove profile - SETTINGS page (far right from home page), select STORAGE, then find your profile and remove.

2. While in you hard drive under GAMES & APPS look for any red or yellow icons with incomplete or unknown. Delete them.

3.Clear System Cache - SETTINGS page, select STORAGE and highlight a drive but don't select it. Press Y and select Clear System Cache. Agree when asked.

4. Be Patient - turn your console off for a full minute. This assists in resetting the console.

5. Turn on the console and download your profile - it is the icon next to 'create a profile'. Try to play again
