    Redeemed a code, but no online


    Hi

    I did redeem a 12-month Xbox live code. But I can’t play online. It shows me that I need to join Xbox live!

    Xbox status says everything is fine, but it’s not.

    I tried to restart the console.

    Any solution?

    Problem redeeming Xbox One codes on Xbox.com

    No error codes. It was redeemed successfully online. However the Xbox One never downloads.

    When I try the same code on the console, it of course says already redeemed. Spoke (Chatted) with a support specialist and they confirmed the code was registered under my ID.

    Need help redeeming my xbox live code

    I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

    so what the... what do I do now?

    Hi, I'd recommend trying the following:

    -Visit https://account.microsoft.com/services/ and make sure that the subscription to Xbox Live Gold is showing up on this page; also, make sure that the account is signed into your Xbox.

    -Try a power cycle of your console using the instructions found here: Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

    -Try removing and then re-adding your profile from your Xbox (note that you should only try this if you know the email/password associated with your account). For instructions: Add or Remove a Microsoft Account on Xbox One

    If none of these work for you, I'd recommend contacting Official Xbox Support at Contact Us | Xbox Support for additional troubleshooting help. Hope that helps!

    Hey KMVY,

    Thank you for posting here on the xbox forums. Once the code has been redeemed, you cannot redeem it again. Which is why you would be getting that message the second time around. Did you redeem the code online or on your xbox? If it was online, you would
    have had to be logged into your gamertag before redeeming the code. Otherwise, you might redeem it on the wrong account.
