redeemed 2 14 day trial codes

I purchased 2 Xbox Live 14 day trial codes.

I redeemed them loged in to my microsoft account on the microsoft web page. I redeemed both and it said that both of the redeemed items were succesfully redeemed.

But when i came home and checked on my Xbox, it didnt say anything about that. Then, i checked my subscriptions and it said that my live was going to expire today.

Why is that?

14 Day trial ended after 1 day

Please bear in mind Xbox Gold trials does not stack to each other. If you redeemed a 14 day trial code then redeem a 2 day code it will remove the 14 day trial code. Have you redeemed other codes besides the 14 day trial?

Xbox Live Free Trial

Hi,

You don't have any sort of a free trial attached to your account. If you were offered a 30 day trial on the console dashboard you'll need to add a payment method in order to take advantage of it.

If you redeemed a trial code like a 2 day or 14 day trial, or even a 30 day trial code from a redemption card then you wouldn't need any sort of payment details. The 2 day/14 day card doesn't give you gold status but lets you play online for the stated days
(2 or 14 days, depending on what you redeemed), or 30 days (which will give you gold status) if you redeemed it from a gold subscription card.

You would want to contact support to see if they can do anything about time expiring early. However, keep in mind that trial codes do not stack. So by redeeming both at the same time, your second code overwrote the first code so you would have only been
left with 14 days and not 28 days. You'll also want to make sure the second code you entered wasn't a 2 day trial instead of 14 day.

To clear it up. If you have an existing 30 days subscription(trial or not). You should not be able to redeem a 14 day trial. If you where able to redeem a trial code during this period, then that 14 day trial will be useless as it won't stack with your 1
month subscription. Once your 1 month subscription ends, everything ends. It won't continue your trial subscription that you redeemed within those period.

So basically, if you have a free 2, 7 or 14 days trial. It is best to be used after an existing subscription ends. And make sure not to redeem them all at once. If you have redeemed a 14 days trial first then redeemed another 2 days trial, it won't stack.
It will overwrite the first one you redeemed. So instead of getting 16 days, you will only get 2 days of trial subscription.

I hope that clear things up regarding trial subscriptions.

If your trying to redeem the 14 day trial that came with your Xbox One for some reason it wont work on the console or xbox.com, I just called up 1800 4MY XBOX and they gave me 1 month redeemable code due to issue with the 14 day trial code

Hi CasualKitten207,

Trial codes does not make you a gold member so your options are limited. Only the 1 month trial makes the account a gold member so if you redeem 2 days, 7 or 14 days trial, your account will still remain silver.
