    I was adding credit to my account via gift card when I noticed a message saying that the credit will be added to an old email address that I lost the password to. Currently I use a different email that my account is defaulted to with no trace of the original
    one to my knowledge. What is the purpose of this address, why is it different from the default address my account is set to, and is it possible to change it? Any input on this would be appreciated.

    My current email has been the only alias on my account for the last 6 months and Microsoft does not recognize the yahoo as a user when I attempt to log in with it. I honestly forgot its existence until now and it mystifies me that its still attached in
    any way.

    On your gift card on the back use a penny to scratch off the back. Make sure not to break it to roughly but enter the letters on the back and you get your xbox money.
