    Redeem Xbox Game Pass Ultimate


    Hello,

    I've a Xbox Game pass Ultimate code (it was coming with the Elite2 controller), it's a 14 free trial. I have already a subscription on the Game pass ultimate, but I thought It would have been fine to redeem this free trial but apparently when I tried to
    redeem it it says that it can be used only from new customers and no for people that already have the Ultimate subscription. This feel a little bit unfair, does anyone know a way to redeem the code ? For example if I cancel my Ultimate subscription and use
    the code, will it work ?

    Xbox Gold conversion

    If you are already a Game Pass Ultimate subscriber, then any Gold codes you redeem will be converted to Game Pass Ultimate. If you are not an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscriber, then no, the Gold codes should not convert to Game Pass Ultimate.

    I'm hoping there would be an option to redeem rewards points for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. However, redeeming for gold and game pass will still work. If you've an active ultimate subscription, you will still get some months added to it but it will be less
    than what you redeemed for via gold or game pass.

    That would be why you can't redeem it then...from the FAQs in the link I posted before:

    "If you were previously subscribed or currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass for PC, or an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, you will not be able to redeem the two month trial for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate!"

    I added a 12-month xBox Gold Ultimate subscription, but it shows 2021

    You indeed bought a year of Xbox Live Gold subscription, the reason why it was converted to Xbox game pass ultimate is because you have an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate when you redeem the code.

    Sorry but there is no annual Xbox game pass ultimate yet.

    I was about to redeem a code for 3 months of gold and it would only redeem as 1 month of ultimate

    If you had Xbox Game Pass Ultimate already active before you redeem that code, when you enter a code for Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass it will add as Game Pass Ultimate and not only Xbox Game Pass, is this your case?
