    Redeem Pre-Paid Code Issue?


    Hi Folks,

    Are there any issues with entering pre-paid codes at the minute? I have tried entering a pre paid code for AC Unity (Xbox One) on my laptop. I had no issue entering the code and once I confirmed the purchase I got the message "You now own AC Unity" which
    is all well and good. I was checking my email about 30 mins later and noticed I had not received the usual "confirmation" email regarding the purchase, so I checked on my X1 and had nothing in the D/L queue. If I try and enter the code again on my laptop (or
    X1) I get the expected message that the code has already been used.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks for making your post, just to clarify is the issue occuring with a Pre-Paid Microsoft Currency/ Xbox Live Gold gift card? Or a pre-paid Visa debit card?

    WONT LET ME REDEEM A 3 MONTH GOLD CARD ?

    I had same code...I just chatted with support they said:

    The only reason that your code is not redeeming to your account is because you are on an active paid subscription and there is a bit of a known issue with stacking paid subscriptions and pre-paid subscriptions together.

    Your current subscription expires on December 8, 2016, and once expired, you can then redeem your pre-paid code without any issues! :)

    Your current subscription expires on December 8, 2016, and once expired, you can then redeem your pre-paid code without any issues! :)
    This tends to happen mostly when you have a paid subscription and turn off auto-renew and then try and redeem the code. For some reason, with auto-renew off, it blocks codes in the system. Once your current subscription expires, you can
    redeem the code without any issues.
