    It would seem that I'm not the only one unable to redeem a one month gold membership gift card. After numerous attempts xbox or ms just won't accept. Gets to a page asking me to confirm and just stops responding. Tired of typing that 25 digit code. Gift
    cards look like a waste of time and money to me. Thanks Microsoft

    There is a sweepstakes to win a $500 gift card, but you can redeem a gift card straight out. Not everything they have to redeem is for a sweepstakes. You can redeem $3.00, $5.00, and $10.00 Xbox gift cards.

    I am trying to redeem a $25 gift card, it knows that it is a gift card but when I press redeem it says PrerequisiteProfileMissing. PLS HELP!!!

    Hey mate, so you're trying to redeem through the console or website? Have you made sure all your billing information is up to date? Sometimes that can stop the code from working.

    I suggest going to the following link and updating all your information as well as trying to redeem the card:
    commerce.microsoft.com I've had others have success redeeming through there instead of this website or the console.

    Log in on rewards.bing.com, and select redeem, then gift card. In the box next to the gift card, select it, and choose 25, then select redeem and follow the instructions from there.

    Method 1: Redeem gift card in store

    The easiest way to add money from a gift card to your account is to redeem it in-store. To do this, go to a store that sells gift cards and present the card to the cashier. The cashier will give you a receipt with a redemption code.

    Once you have the redemption code, you can enter it into your online account or the store's app. The money from the gift card will be added to your account balance.

    Method 2: Redeem the gift card online

    You can also redeem the gift card online. To do this, visit the store's website and look for the gift card section. Enter the gift card code and follow the instructions to complete the redemption process.

    Once you have redeemed the gift card, the money will be added to your account balance.
