Redeem game code not working.

    Redeem game code not working.


    Hi there need a little help.

    Typed in my code for Halo 5 which I got from the xbox one bundle. All the codes that came with the xbox and games worked just fine, all but the code for halo 5. I get "Check the instructions that came with your code. You might need to redeem it on a different
    web page." which I did check and the link provided with the email took me straight to the microsoft account code redeem page. I typed it in there and got the same message again. I also have this

    does anyone else have a code they are not using.

    the codes i had yesterday would not work. i assume you simply redeem them on the marketplace "redeem code" section

    Stoopid question, but with everyone now having NXE, the instructions on the back of the manual are out of date, so where on earth do i go to redeem the code as i can no longer find an option called 'redeem code' will it work if i just select any song to download and then enter the code there? or is there an option within RB2 to redeem the code(not seen on if there is)

    It would depend on what game it is.

    It doesn't matter where a code is redeemed. If the code is for a console only game, it will only work on console. If it's for a PC game, it would work on PC even if you redeemed it on console.

    forza horizon 1 was delisted a long time ago now, to my knowledge 360 games that are delisted redeem codes will not work, now delisted xbox one games work with redeemable codes.

    Had to boot the game on the xbox one access the “Redeem Code” option within the game. Which opened the classic 360 redeem code screen within the emulated screen. Entered the code and it worked! I think the guide needs the redeem code screen added!
