Redeem free game codes that came with a new console

We have a new XBOX 360 and received two coupons for free games. One (Tomb Raider) had a 25 digit code and downloaded without a problem. The other (Halo 4) is only 14 digits and isn't accepted in the 'redeem codes' screen on the console. Is there another
place on the console to enter this coupon code? Or via computer/internet?

The code would have been included in the box that your Xbox One console came in. Did you successfully redeem that code? If not, check the packaging that your console came in to redeem that code. If you already redeemed the code, you can find the game in
the
Ready to install list while signed in on the account that originally redeemed the code.

I can not find the code for the free games that came with my new console. It came with card for the new game, but I can not find the 25 digit code for the game. Where do I find the codes?

 

codes can be redeemed on the console or on the website but they have to be valid codes are you sure you got the entire code visible most if not all codes are in the 25 digit format.

 

A 14 digit code may be an item that is only downloadable within the game itself which means you have to own the game prior to using the download code.

Can you please describe exactly what the card for Halo says you get? Do not post the code.

The coupon is for Halo 4 War Games Map Pass. But the box shows a picture of 2 games. Tomb Raider looks like a card and small print defines it as a download. The Halo 4 picture looks like a green plastic game case. I assumed the coupon was also for a complete
download but now it looks as though I didn't get the actual game disk in the box and the coupon is for what you describe - an add on. Do we try to convince the store it was bought at that the game was missing?

 

That is definitely something that can only be downloaded through the game. However, you will need to talk to the store to see if a game was supposed to be included in the package or just the map pass.
