redeem codes

my xbox one had a number of errors which required full reset without internet connection to be carried out a number times since then when i install games like gears of war and halo master chief i am ask to supply a redeem code when you do it states these
have been used before which is obvious as i used them the first time --- so you cannot play these games

anyone now how to solve this ? asked ms and got no-wear

Need help redeeming my xbox live code

I tried redeeming the code in my browser on my computer using these instructions, big mistake. It said "thank you, you redeemed your code" and then exited me out. No gamertag registration whatsoever. I thought the whole point of redeeming my code was to create a gamer tag, but no just exits me out. I then tried redeeming my code on my xbox (so that I could create the gamer tag) and it said "sorry, code already redeemed."

so what the... what do I do now?

does anyone else have a code they are not using.

the codes i had yesterday would not work. i assume you simply redeem them on the marketplace "redeem code" section

Thanks for your post. To install games that have been already redeemed from a token, be sure to be signed into the account you redeemed it on. Then use this article:

How to install games on Xbox One and follow the guide for reinstalling games. After the games are installed it should be ready to play normally.

already tried this and it didnt work asked ms if they could reset code as with pc games guy didnt know

My Games and
let us know if you see Gears of War and Halo Master Chief. This page shows the entitlements owned on the account that is signed in. If it does not show the game title then that means it is the wrong account which would explain why it's not downloading. If
it is the correct account and the entitlements/game titles show then I would recommend trying to
remove and re-add your account.

Side Note:
It is
very important to make sure you know the primary email/password to the account before removing
it from the console.

To check the email being used with the gamertag, go to
Settings > Account > sign-in, security & passkey;
in middle column at the top it will say "show on home"
if it is checked it will rotate from gamertag and email on homepage. If it is not check marked, it will show in this box.
