Redeem codes Xbox one - error

can anyone shed some light as I can't seem to contact Microsoft.

xbox live recently ran out and as my debit card wouldn't work I opted to buy the membership via the net off of a good site.

problem I have is using the code, it's recognised as a 12m gold membership on both Xbox one and online on microsoft site, but attempting to complete purchase it errors Xbos-0x80169D3A. Checking that code on the error search it says it's a 360 error regarding
billing.

I can't see any on going issues with purchasing for Xbox one, just the 360, or is there?

im convinced the code is fine just want to know if purchasing is definately working.

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

Hey there GURKY BOY!

I see that you currently have an Xbox Live Gold subscription from your gamercard. To make sure if you click your Gamertag at the top right of the page and select subscriptions do you see an active subscription on your account? You can also check your Payment
& Billing at the top of that subscription page. From there check for any pending or declined transactions.

Let us know how it goes.

yes I received a card for 12 month in the mail today and it gives me error codes , I have two days left do I have to wait for it to expire ?

Spenny, I have no idea you should start your own post for an answer.

Turns out my problem was my account had an old credit card linked to it so until that was either paid or removed no other forms of payment would work, I rang the help desk in the end. Sorry late updating... halo caught my attention, but thanks Mister Maka
on posting tho. All good and resolved now tho.

Xbox One isn't going to accept the Fallout 3 redemption code. Here, try these solutions.

Solution 1: Redeem your code at a later time

In most cases, this error is due to a temporary problem with redeeming the code. Wait a while and then try again.

Solution 2: Make sure you're trying to redeem an Xbox code

Check to make sure the prepaid code is for an Xbox game or app. If the code is for a Windows game or app, go to
