Redeem Code/Free Month LIVE Gold Error

Not too long ago (just yesterday), I have bought a 1-Year Membership for Xbox LIVE Gold. I went on to my Xbox ONE, my 360, and even on this website to redeem the code for it, and all were a bust. The Xbox ONE showed the "(0x80a40008)" error code. On this
site, I clicked on "Redeem Code" and it sent me to a Microsoft page that couldn't be displayed. I tried to download this profile to my 360 to redeem it, but it kept saying I have to put in my billing address, zip code, etc. Can someone, please, at least tell
me what's going on?

I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

I have also tried to activate the free month that you get with every new account, but it still doesn't let me. Please, someone, tell me what's wrong.

If you do have any billing information on your account, can you please check your billing information to ensure that its current and up-to date. You may do that here: Payment options Also,
please check that you have no overdue balances on your account as those will need to paid in full before you can redeem/purchase any content onto your account. You may check that on your service page here: Services

Afterwards, please check that your account security information is current at Security & Privacy. Please then try to redeem your
code again online: https://redeem.microsoft.com/?wa=wsignin1.0 if you currently have a membership active and are trying to activate a trial, you will get an error as the system does not allow a trail
to be added onto of a pre-exeisiting gold membership.
