    A buddy of mine sent me a code for $15 in my microsoft account, but now it wont let me use it to purchase a month of Gold. What gives? Can I get a refund or partial refund and a month of Gold?

    can't redeem the codes

    i bought my xbox bundle last week, i cant redeem the codes on xbox live gold free trial and the code for the free game. pls help or ill buy ps4

    I purchased and have received and redeemed the codes for the games but seem to be getting an error code trying to redeem the 12 Month Live code.

    Xbos-0x80169CF9

    Any ideas? It just suggests trying again later.

    You can only use a pre-paid subscription card or a credit/debit card for Gold Membership. You can not use ms points cards. Those are strictly for download content on the Marketplace only.

    You can redeem it on steam.

    You can't redeem a steam code on the xbox/microsoft store platform. You MUST buy it digitally on the microsoft store to use it on xbox live/windows live.

    Microsoft will still take your money and apply changes to your account but you cannot use any of them...
